Emmert defends record during contentious briefing (Yahoo! Sports)

ATLANTA (AP) -- NCAA President Mark Emmert is defending his record amid complaints about the way the organization has investigated wayward schools, as well as a newspaper report that questioned his leadership in previous jobs.
