Applewhite taking over play calling at Texas (Yahoo! Sports)

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Texas co-offensive coordinator Major Applewhite will take over play-calling duties for the Longhorns with Bryan Harsin leaving for the head-coaching job at Arkansas State.
