California wide receiver and Pac-12 Conference first-team selection Keenan Allen is scheduled to have ankle surgery that will sideline him for all of spring practice. Cal coach Jeff Tedford said Wednesday that Allen will be back for summer workouts and be ready for the season opener Sept. 1 against Nevada at refurbished Memorial Stadium.
