Former NFL cornerback Darnell Walker Sr. has been hired as an assistant coach at Tulsa, where he will be able to mentor his son. Walker was hired Tuesday as the new cornerbacks coach for the Golden Hurricane. The former cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions had been the defensive backs coach for Southwest Baptist (Mo.) for the past three years.
