Charlie Weis completed his first coaching staff at Kansas on Thursday by hiring Wisconsin assistant DeMontie Cross to coach the linebackers. Cross spent last season coaching the Badgers' special teams and safeties. Before that, the former Missouri safety coached at Sam Houston State, Iowa State and for five seasons with the Buffalo Bills, primarily handling the linebackers.
