Former Oklahoma State coach Stanley dies (AP)

Former Oklahoma State football coach Jim Stanley has died at age 77. OSU spokesman Kevin Klintworth says Stanley died from cancer Thursday in Arizona. Stanley was head coach at OSU from 1973-78 and led the Cowboys to a 35-31-2 record and to a share of the Big Eight title and a Tangerine Bowl victory in 1976.
